Magnolia House is an award-winning care home who provide wellbeing support and personal care to 62 elderly residents, some of whom are living with dementia. We now have had two exciting opportunities come available within our care team. We are now looking for a day care assistant to join our friendly team.

The successful people will assist the residents, whilst respecting their dignity and promoting independence, with a wide range of daily activities from bathing, dressing, and support with eating and drinking through to singing, gardening, day trips, and celebrating special events. Your role is to ensure that all our residents can continue to live the lives they love and are encouraged to maintain the activities they have always enjoyed.

We are looking for caring, hardworking and reliable staff, in return we can offer you a good rate of pay, a two weekly rolling rota, and we also offer a loyalty holiday scheme, if you work within the company for 3 years you will have an extra day’s holiday, 5 years you have 2 further holiday days and for 7 years employment you have 3 extra holiday days on top of the usual 19. All bank holidays are also paid at double time.

As a company we believe having staff trained to a high standard is of the utmost importance and we actively encourage and promote training and development with each employee, and if you wish we will fund NVQ’s, and distance learning for any employee within the home who is wishing to develop their career in the care industry. We will also work alongside and assist you to develop and track your progress with bi-monthly supervisions.
